 Coolness: 37805 | Everyone I know who works a job with tips makes very, very decent wages.. A magnitude higher than minimum wage, in fact. The toonie and loonie revolutionized tipping for them, and yes it is often the ideal amount, but quite frankly I couldn't give a rats ass if they have to haul loads of change down to the bank or not. I'm never going to leave a 100% tip. They're performing an unskilled service, and tips are gifts given by persons in a better position, to help them along in their meager existence (sarcasm). When I hear about some dumb as fuck high school dropout cheerleader making 25$ an hour for work which does not equate to the effort involved.. its a little bothersome.
I start at 20% tip, and I drop it for every fuckup on the servers part. I work hard for my money, and I'm not about to go around giving it away. A tip is a privledge, not a right. |

but there is no need to give McDonalds employees tips, their job takes care of that, in fact thats why no one ever gives them tips, is because your not suppost to. and as for stress, every job is stressful working as a busboy where all you do is sit in a cramped coridore and wait for 6 to 8 hundred plates glasses untensils and whatnot to all of a sudden pile up in front of you, is very stressful and so when it comes down to me getting tipped, i expect to be taken care of, thats why, when i get screwed over, i start shit, ie. reason my job fired me the first time |

also, most bar-tenders and waitress' i know make alot more money then i do, which is why i generally refuse to go to bars, the fuckin price of everything is already double, or tripled.. and then if you leaave less then a dollar tip, you're sneared at,... what the fuck, i rather drink in a park like the ghetto-ass biatch that i am! |
