i don't know about you but i can't stand all this carbon dioxide and cement anymore. montreal is an awesome place to live in, but trees, lakes and mountains have much more powerful energy. being surrounded by the nature is a total renewal. i just love to sit on the pure ground and not worry i'll have puke/gas stains on my butt. or laying down on a moss bed... no need to check for needles and broken glass. aaargh !!!
what do ya think ? |

but you do need to worry about bear shit stains, mushroom dust, thorny hedgehogs and an occasional Insane-o-Moose(tm) |

my plan has always been to go out of the city as often as possible (in the woods,or just calm countryside,at least once evry 2 months),and in summertime more often because Montreal's so polluted and packed...but stay strong, peace |

I find montrealers have got alot ruder lately.
Combined that with low vancency and high rent and it could become like (pre-sept 11) New York soon (I hope not) |

I love Montreal... almost as much as i love Toronto. The good thing about both of them is that you can drive for a short time and be in the middle country, and see cows and stuff. Well i dont really know about driving out of montreal but the train get to the middle of nowhere pretty quick. |

I totally hear you...
pavement is so dreary and lifeless. cities can be so dull and drab. walking on pavement gets to me after a while. so flat. so plain. total resistance. I need greens and browns... grey makes me too depressed after a while. but so does a lack of people... and thats why i need to live in the city. but as fuzzboy said, you can always leave for a little while... a short vacation to no where... |

My parents area is like that. Its a 10 minute drive from Downtown but theres a ravine that starts about 10 houses up from them that has deer and foxes in it. Theres also a huge nature tail that you can walk to in 10 minutes..... and get nie and wasted in LOL |
