| Ok i guess i should be the one to let you people know what's really going on...
The dude that got the idea of having these open decks events is a hardcore freak. He knows a lot of the hardcore/speedcore dj's from the CSR and such. Anyway, he got the idea of putting on a weekly event called Bloody Sunday wich would feature hardcore electronic music every sunday. He spoke to his manager and got the OK. It seems im the one thats most involved with him so far and it shows he's put a lot of time and effort into it so far. He's made drafts for flyers and such...
Anyway, Ecoli, TerroristKriss, etc and all HHC dj's, if youre interested lemme know and we'll all go down one day and speak to him about it. It's not a paying job but if later on his idea proves to be profitable, he may start paying all of us dj's for our time... |

| i wasnt supposed to go to this.
but somehow i ended up there, and then next thing i know i wasted with thierry at 1 in the morning arguing about digital vs analog producing. |
|
Coolness: 340385
| DIGITAL! |
|
Coolness: 300045
| a fusion of both is the way to go. anyways even if you are with analog you will need to use midi sequencing, which is digital |
|
Coolness: 53265
| shut up. |
|
Coolness: 686310
| You don't NEED midi sequencing, it's just a tool. You should be able to play your own synth lines anyways. :) I much prefer using analog gear but recording it digitally. Much easier to mix. Ever try fixing a fuckup on an analog 8 track? It's fucking unpleasent to say the least. |

| you gotta love ben's creative replies
and as for mixing, as much as i love analog, digital is the future... or at least like fred said, sampling analog gear and using it in a digital mixer |
