nymphland is back up... still problems loading the new pictures... php 4.3.4 is installed and mysql 4 is now installed... i just need to figure out how to run php with suexec so that it runs as the user and not some wierd web user... i hate this shit... grrr to linux which takes 10x longer to do anything in...
what are the permissions and groups on your php ( or whatever language is being called from the php script. perl? ). Modify permissions with chown/chmod and try it?
I *HATE* working with permissions in unix..
i would love for someone to come up with a better system for operating systems to use other than users and permissions.. way to messy.
apache 2.* has different modules and ways to load stuff than the 1.3.foo versions. The only reason that i put the latest 2.foo version on my server was because i handcode my html by hand, and i don't need no fancy databases or cgis at all.
what version of suexec you got anyhow? And unix permissions are easy once you get the hang of em.
ffuuuccckk man, i can't help you unless i got more accesses to your system, check this shit out man, this checklist is massive to get the shit to work.
