but my opinion is as such. you do heroine or crack even once and i drag you to rehab. kicking and fucking screaming. i dont give a shit who you are or what ties i have or have not anymore with you. maybe we didnt have this discussion but i know i had it with a couple of people who i was once concerned about. THAT, my friend, is not empathy but something much more. i have no empathy for addicts, i dont think i can - ive never been there. having empathy suggests a person understands and that understanding is gleaned from experience. so you're right on that count, i aint got none. lastly, for the record, i havent stopped doing anything, everything in moderation. binge and purge. but not everyday. if i had to smoke a joint everyday or do a line am or pm to unwind or whatever, i would think id have a problem. but thats just me. i can only speak for myself. |
