| Coolness: 62115 | Even when Hooked 2 was scheduled on the same day, I was not worried. No disrespect intended, but as I said to Steve Lalla, "It does not make me even bat an eye to see that Sase, Corey K, Stabba and Galaksy are all playing on the same night, as not one of these disc jockeys jock the discs that will be jocked at Asphalt Jungle". To put it short, these two events are not in the same category as one another.
Notice that everyone on the line-up of Asphalt Junlge is a producer, i.e. the majority of the tracks that you will hear at Asphalt Jungle will be being played for the first time (and many will only be played on that night as many of the selectors are cutting dubplate specials). Most of the tunes will not be released, and if they are, it will not be for quite sometime that they are available to record buying massive. Plain and simple, Asphalt Jungle is not your ordinary everyday dnb party that happens on any given day, Asphalt Jungle is something different, something special, something unique. As was the first Asphalt Jungle, as will be this Asphalt Jungle, as will be all of the future Asphalt Jungles to come. I truly believe in this event, and I urge each and everyone out there to recognize and realize. |
