Audi's might be a little overpriced in this case.
I stand by my other choices for these reasons Honda: AMAZING ENGINES! They go forever, and have great power. Toyota: Great engines too. Solid bodies, and a very smooth ride. Jetta: Amazing on gas, quick, and spacious. On the bad side, older honda's (pre 96 and back moreso) had major issues with rusting on the fenders, and near the back bumper. So be careful if you're getting an older one Toyota: likes to guzzle more gas than you'd think. But still nothing overly high. Definately economical. Jetta: getting/replacing parts can be a bitch. But chances are if you hunt around, you can find great mechanics to do it well and cheap. I know a number of them in Ottawa, but not yet in mtl. |

CUTE?
YOU THINK that piece of aluminum & plastic is cute? thats the ugliest thing i have ever seen in my life. its cheap, and EXREMELY unsafe....not to mention hiddeous. dino: i might be handing my lease over because i think i might want to look into a 3-series. i dont know what yr budget is, but my jetta is $400/month if yr interested. fully loaded, leather, rims, etc. |

hmmmmm.. 400/month you say?
its a new jetta? and how long is the lease? cuz i was thinking more along the lines of buying a piece of shit thatll run for like a year.. but this might serve me just as well... also.. yes.. the echo is the ugliest thing ever made... what possesses someone to wake up one morning and say to himself: "Im gonna buy the most retarded car ever built today!" |

CAA has rated Honda Civic the best car of 2003.
CAA has rated VW Golf and VW Jetta as the worst car of 2003. My civic is great on gas. 25$ gets me roughly 600kms. The engine is only 115, but it't a v-tech engine and has some sweet as bite to it. Also with my chrome rims, it looks pimpin'...just need some spring coils and a new muffler...den we set |

Dino: its 20,000km/yr, and its got 3 more years left on the lease.
The Jetta was rated safest car of 2003 in its class. The civic isnt in the same class as the jetta. |
