My Grandma on my Dad's side died b-4 I was even one, so I never got the chance to know her, but RIP.

My Grandma on my Mom's side died around 8 years ago, but she would do anything for us, and always spoiled us to death. I miss her.

yo what about gramps?!
wish ive known one

grampa from mom's side was executed in communism for being an intellectual. Granny Sakorhn's alive and kicking finally back in homeland where she's with people that understand her. although she's been half paralyzed from torture/disease. her life has been dedicated to the buddhist temple for as long as i've known her. thanks Yeh Sakorhn for all those hours of tutoring this dumb kid.

my dads family was slaughtered in communism so i've never known anybody from him side. bless their souls; they were all men of knowledge with fighting spirits.

my utmost gratitude to all ancestors watching over me and all my future relations. bigup to all my rugged ass wise uncles who abandoned life in the new world to return back home and commit life giving back to our motherland.

yeah- my grandparents are # 1 too. i've pretty much based all my beliefs on love from their relationship (on both sides). one of my grandmothers divorced my grandfather at a time when that wasn't socially acceptable because she didn't wanna put up with anyone's shit.
my other grandparents' families disowned them for marrying each other, and they went through many difficult times just for being the races they were, and always did anythign for each other- and they've been together for 50 years.

Im not too impressed by my grandmother on my dad's side, she abandoned my dad when he was 2.

On my mom's side, well... She's completely crazy. She has alzheimers and lives in England. But she's sure she's in Belgium, and has forgotten about my existence. There's also alot more crazyness to her.

So I guess she's cool, in a crazy way.

i miss my grandrents X4

i never knew my dads dad, he died fighting in world war 2

my granny was the coolest, she lived in Rivier Beaudette by herself, with some of the coolest crazy oldschool toys, she had aulheimerz very badly, but always knew who we were, but she always asked "when's poppa commin' home" she was so good. i remember near the end, you'd go in her house and there would be 20 plus cats in the house, i went into her room and there was another 15 kittens in a cardboard box with their moms

i miss my Granma n Granpa too, i didn't get to goto my granpas funeral because i was a counselor up at Kanawana, i miss looking through all of his stuff, he had all sorts of guns from the 14 hundreds all through to ww2, he had so many medals and badges, he even had nazi medals that he got fighting in france, he never cared to talk about that though, cause it wasn't something he wanted to do...his basement was the actuall interior of the bank he used to work in, and was full of the coolest things, n granma was so great, breakfast everymorning served with pure love and in everything she did

Grandrents are the best, cherish them

now resting and wandering souls like to talk also; so it's not fair talking about them when they can't talk back to us. they like to talk also. so umm yeah the least you can do is recognize the pains, struggle and joys, of those who came before us. show gratitude for what they've brought us

i like this thread

the one i do have is daddy's dad, he has sadly gone nuts after his wife passed away and has spent the remains of his life fighting with his children, its so sad to watch. When my dads mom was still alive all was well i miss her she was an amazing women and would have done anything in her power to help anyone...she dind't belive in spoiling anyone cause that would cause people to want more material things...she was amazing i only hope that ond day i will see her again she was trully an amazing person.

my moms dad passed away a long time ago i never meet him, maybe in the after life we'll finally meet......nany was good to me and my sis although she loved her booze entierly way to much.......the bootle was her true love she gave my mommy a hard life but meant well .....i miss her as well....*tear*.
