You are someone who obviously doesn't have rheumatoid arthritis. It's a bitch to just walk most of the time, let alone dance. If ir wasn't for speed at parties, I'd barely be able to just hop to the music, let alone co-ordinate my joints enough to dance. And let's not forget the fun in air-pressure changes and cold weather.
Of course, having quit the chems, you'll find me more often than not half dead on a sofa or in a corner blunted off my ass. |

READ wat i posted after i posted that comment.
i want to dance all the time, when i hear music, i love too but i don't have the STAMINA nor the endurance to last all night, thus comes the in the amphetamine.
i don't need the drugs to enjoy the music, i need the drugs to dance for 5 hours straight. That is why i mentioned i wish i had the endurance of a world athlete.
you already brought judgement upon me when u posted dat.

yes i took drugs in the past to escape from reality. because i loved being high. because i was submerged into the drug world, and somewhat grew up taking drugs. i took the decision to continue after detox. i just believed i needed to be high. im not proud of it, but its reality. i struggled soo much, i have suffered because of my addictions. i have lost soo many friends. some have died, some are on the street...and some are recovered. and that is why i dont get high anymore pookie.
now if the point u were trying to make, was to make me feel embarassed, im sorry but i have nothing to hide.
cuz my experience will be simply passed on. this is why i started the thread in the first place. experiences, opinions, equals knowledge. simple equation. |

| I use to get high to forget about my emotions...how life can be painful sometimes and it hurt a lot but you can t really talk with you crack friends cuz they can t handle it either and the solution will be to get high a little bit more! you go in a circle and you feel that the door you went through in the first place is gone, and you re trap inside...
trying to get out look to hard and you feel you can t do it.
now i do drug for fun, i control myself a lot and i never touch it if i feel down or emotional, because that s dangerous for me.
you have to know yourself and listen to yourself a lot...to keep control, it s not easy and it s not fun to stop when everyone keep on going...
but you have to remember that you have a live and you want to keep it...then you have to tell yourself to stop sometimes...so you can do it again another time! =) |

| I use drugs (selectively) because I have a strong desire for personal growth and self-realization. I use drugs to heighten emotional/intellectual awareness and help acheive insight. While drug use certainly has inherent dangers, so does any venture into the less-trodden and obscure recesses of the human experience. No great achievement has ever been the result of playing it safe. |

| I used to eat speed 'cause of my rheumatoid arthritis and all. Some days I can barely walk, let alone dance, and it does nothing but get worse with the weather. I've since stopped the amphetamine family, cloud 6 was my last time. I started liking the high waaaaaaaaaaay too much for my own good. You know there's something wrong when the only days of the week where you aren't on 3 diffrent pills are the days that you sleep through...
Weed and hash are my drugs of choice right now. I've got stress issues and they help relax me a lot. I also find the high to be really good and not overwhelming. Mentaly, it also brings me to a much better place than "uppers". I'm more mellow and less inclined to get depressed about things, even though I usually dwell on them a lot more and think about my problems more, I never seem to become overly emotional when high.
And if none of that made sence, it's because I've been smoking all day so fuck you all and the horses you rode in on. |

| Like most people I started smoking for reasons of curiosity & experimentation. Soon thereafter it became a part of me, and since I realized its potentially addictive and habit-forming properties I lost interest in trying any heavy drugs.
As stated above, drugs are good in moderation as a hobby and not as a habit. Worst of all is my caffeine dependance,... I drink way too much coffee on any given work day. |
