i had msn 6 installed on my mac under OS 9, it would startup, log in and i'd be able to send messages for about 4 seconds before i got signed out. it then says i need a newer vers to use msn..
the new vers is OS X only. can someone explain to me why a functioning app gets denied by MS's network even though there are no incompatibility issues? |

they've been posting updates to this on the Microsoft Knowledge Base. I cant remember the exact reference sheet name, but basically this is the thing:
-update to version 6, they're making it so older versions, including Messanger Plus! wont work soon. -they're having network issues with the protocol, and connection type used by Messanger, it's being worked on, but it takes time with a system that fucking huge. |

umm.. If you installed MSN 6.0, and had messenger before, its because messenger keeps loading up, and trying to log in, knocking you off 6.0, then they go back and forth fighting for it
you have to disable msnmsgs.exe in your msconfig under 'startup' |
