 Coolness: 125845 | 1st the venue was fantastic. Really big with lots of space to move.
2nd the crowd. Even if it was not packed at maximum, there was enough positive energy to feel the vibe. 3rd the music. Some big cheesy Euro Dance or somethin' just b4 Mat B set was not of my kind. I was just waiting for Mat B to finally bring the drum and bass. Nice set ! You should check out for this guy. His set @ Halloween in da jungle was a killer. Jahstyle dropped some fat ragga bizness that got the crowd on the dancefloor. Then it was me and Iznogood that was mixing hadcore/hip-hop/.... over drum and bass... God I think this was the set where I had more fun... I tell you it was devastating. 1st time I really talked to Iznogood and I must say that this guy is DOPE! Check out for more collaboration between me and Iznogood in a really near future.. If you weren't a this party, yu'll see what I mean... to Finish, some special mentions to Matday, Saigon, Krinjah, Stabba, Jordan Dare and Corey K for representing at the night.....  Coolness: 65270 | Nitrous dropped a great set. No clanging, bangin selection ! In my opinion the most underrated drum and bass dj in Montreal. Sneaked a couple of his tunes in the mix too.
I digged the hardcore / drum and bass thing for a while, but when the dj after Nitrous came in, it was a little bit too noisy for my taste. It was like the two dj's were competing with each other, to the great dismay to some people I saw covering their ears with their hands. I had fun, pretty ladies aplenty. Cheap beer ( 2 for 1 ). Plenty of punk girls in the venue. I tell you, we need more punk girls, goth ravers in jungle events. |
