then you gave up and went into the chalet.
i didnt think it was possible to get such a big bump on my shin from yr snowboard ramming into my leg.
then again, sauveur rents out the WORST boards, boots + step ins. those things are not meant to learn on. they should have never been invented in the first place.

| if you're going to be serious about it, get yourself a half decent set up. I'm a devout Burton rider, and they make quality boards. They aren't exactly the cheapest, but performance-wise, in my experience, they are the best...and they LAST. I might have a Burton '01 Feelgood (which is a women's board) for sale this year. I paid $750 for the board itself (w/o bindings) and I'm willing to let it go for a half decent price.
Forum boards, Jeenyus boards, and Salomon boards are all good picks too. Dont go to a board shop and ask them what will do, they will rip you off no doubt and get you to buy a pricey set up.
If you are a beginnier, you shouldn't be paying more than $500 (if that) for your setup. |
