I'M An Old Lady

i dunno what's going on with me.. it's been happening over the course of a few months now, but it just occured to me as i was sitting there, knitting, listening to doris day... i'm an old lady.
i've gradually switched from watching seinfeld after school to jeapordy... going to the movies is even a really big field trip for me... i'm always tired- but now i've actually started to go to bed early... i'm finding myself dressing in almost only neutrals and big hairy conservative clothes with ONLY low comfortable shoes.. i've literally become an old lady... maybe it's like when you're 10 and want to start wearing makeup? and when 15 year olds have sex and do drugs? ... i dunno, this could be normal, right? |

It's cause of your boyfriend... I'd feel a lot more sociable without a girlfriend... |

no i didn't- i was just comparing myself to the teens that try to 'grow up too fast'
and leaving my boyfriend would just make me more miserable (that's not even an option) . he didn't make me old, i've just become old. maybe i need to be more active.. but i don't have the energy to want to :( |

well there's nothing wrong with enjoying simple and quiet things
you're boyfriend is probably glad that you're a low maintenance girl as well |

It's funny, 'cause I did the same thing. I quit drinking after my 18th birthday 'cause I realised I had an alcohol problem, and when I started going out with my now-ex, we spent the last half of the relationship just staying home and watching movies. Hell, I didn't even talk to people who smoked or drank, let alone anyone who did drugs.
Then we broke up a year and a half ago, and look at me now! |

Maybe you just have some sand in your vagina... get it out before you turn into a timebomb! |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» Screwhead replied on Sun Nov 2, 2003 @ 2:52pm |
Maybe these people can help you get the sand out! |

well, i was already pretty much a square, (even though i find myself drinking more than usual nowadays)
i don't think there's anything wrong with "enjoying simple and quiet things", it just struck me as abnormal for an 18 year old girl... and for the record i don't have sand in my vagina. |

Maybe you can work out more... to have more energy.
Or get a hobbie.. something that will make you excited and maybe less tired.. or maybe its certtain foods you are eating that makes you tired.. or your sleeping habbit. As for your boyfriend.. doubt he has anything to do with it. |
