Man killed outside N.D.G. bar Thursday, October 30, 2003 MONTREAL -- A man in his twenties died early Thursday morning in Montreal after being shot several times outside an N.D.G. bar. The incident occurred at approximately 3 a.m. after a fight broke out outside the Peel Pub at Saint-Jacques and Beaconsfield. It's not known what caused the fight, but the shooters escaped. No arrests have been made. Investigators were still at the scene Thursday morning looking for clues in the city's 36th murder of the year. --------------------------------- holy fuck...yesterday night. this is 1 minute from my place. i was going to meet some friends for some drinks at the local waterhole. so either we go to Pub or PJ. We went to PJ (like 15 minute walk from Pub) cuz it was 7$ for a pitcher of ricks red. But near 3am.. we were walking back, drunk... then all these 5-0s with lights and siren speed by us.. then the ambulance. ahh man.. i know some local peeps that go there regularly on wesneday. I hope they're ok. |

that girl who was raped near vendome was pretty much 5 mins away from where i used to live. i remember walking to vendome that morning and seeing all the police tape, just like this morning. and a few months later, there was a drive-by right up the street from me. i still love ndg. |
