Its vaguely, and solely describing a relationship between a man and a virgin, not a man and a child... Some of the women in biblical times waited to lose their virginity after they became mature and not while they were still "children" or within the realms of (what today would be considered) pedophilia. Hence the bible does not properly (or even) justify sex with children, but only what occures in the event a man has sex with a female virgin.

| Everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion...However, let's remind ourselves that it is terribly wrong to support or promote behaviour which is abusive and violent regardless of the circumstances. There is always an better ultimatum to violence which is only justifiable for self defense in a life or death situation.

yeah, i'm gonna haffa go with everyone else.. theres a reason why parents hold ownership of their children, it's cause they aren't old enough to make descisions for themselves.. having sex with a child is abuse, plain and simple. there really isn't any debate, even if the child seems to be enjoying it (which would be unlikely) it would only be because they aren't completely understanding as to what is happening. |
