A New Generation/breed Of Ravers?

I think, alex, that if someone really doesn´t want to go to a party, noone can really force them to go, so the people there bitching because they don´t want to be there, are either just putting on a show, or stupid.
People can´t physically drag you to a party. If you´re going to please a friend, then stop your bitching and try to enjoy it, since you obviously care a lot about them and their happiness this isn´t directed at anyone, just an opinion. :) |

you're right because even if you were dragged, u know before hand that it'll suck so whatever......I gotta admit, bitching can be so much fun....it all depends how I guess hehe |

You know what I think....
I think its CRAP If you go to parties... raves... or whatever even if you think negative or postitive.. if you are gay or like to kill people in your spare time.. or plant flowers or listen to rap.. or go to lots of bars.. whatever you do... or say... it doesn't matter. If you go to raves.. and you haaaaaaaaaaave to use this "labeling" people thing.. then yeah.. that person is a "raver". who cares if they are mean or have attitute, just don't talk to them and go dance to some music. |

a ranting since I can't put my thoughts in a coherent manner.
I often ponder where the old skoolers are and what they are doing. Why they left and didn't come back. What happened to all the crews? Today, all aspects of the "rave scene" have grown so much i still have trouble catching up and grasping it all. But i like watching the "new generation" of ravers because they remind me of my time, and I reminisce about the best days of my life. There's a pattern to this ravelife and the cycle keeps repeating it. Alot of people go through stages. I assume the majority experience their first all night party during their adolescence. During our teenage life, we wonder who we really are, it is a very fragile but resilient period in our lives. I think that the negative feeling you get, maybe after partying for a few years, is that you finally realize that life has alot more to offer than that of the intense high and utopian rave atmosphere. The scene will never be the same for the reason that it is progressing. But you longed for your time; to be like it was...you can't linger. The problem might not lie with the new breed of 'jaded' ravers, but more reflectively on your perception. You have to acknowledge the situation, progress, and then achieve something. Rise High |

hmmm...
those are some kool thoughts...to be perfectly honnest though, this thread was started as a halfjoke/afterthought of my ponderment last night. The need to catrgorize things and people is a pop-culture reality, I just thought it'd be fun to throw yet another "jam-word" in with "new-speak" in the mix... oh well... Ufot-for nothing, so who's paying the bill? |

i think the problem is that raves have become comom place..so with that in mind young peeps that have not had things nice come looking for excape...but they bring that jaded hard edge along with them

kira cannot be contained, its true.
and at the risk of syaing something thats been said 34893493939 times before - in order to be a JADER, you must first have been a RAVER because you start out all innocent and starry-eyed but then you realise how stupid and pointless it all is and that the "scene" will never be like it was back in the good ol days and thus becoming a JADER. |
