 Coolness: 93815 | It all came together last nite, when I was thinking about the last couple of days, and the frustration I'd felt. It all came to a definition that made me come up with a word...
From now on(and u can all be in on this) I think negative, sulky, whiny, newskoolers could be called : "jaders" instead "r*vers". To me it just makes more sense, and sounds better too(since most r*vers in the traditional sense are extinct). It dawned on me that true r*vers would never carry on this kindof attitude or spirit, and these newskoolers(not all newskoolers, just the nasty/angry/hurtfull) had to be a new "strand", since they all seemed so jaded, I thought jaders would be a good category/descriptive word(lol). what do u think? Ufot-battles with words, and were cut by your own... |

well, opinions are opinions, and in my opinion, all of the oldskoolers I know are still pretty positive in general, we didn't get jaded(especially not so fast anyways)so, I think things have changed, all fear the jaders of todays bl'underground scene.......  Coolness: 146135 | the thing is that when you're an all innocent raver, u don't know what to expect from parties and you don't know all that much about the music.....then you start realising that some parties suck and some don't and some styles of music you like and others u don't....so it's more like a knowledgeable person.....so a raver to u is someone who just takes whatever is thrown a them and keeps on smilling even though the party and the music is not to his linkings? that's a "high-on-E" raver or something, sorry it's my opinion.....(btw, why do u write r*ver with a *?)....u guys have a definition of ravers which is very different from mine.....guess I'm older-schooler then :b.....why is a r*ver automatically a CANDY?! That, in my mind, does not make [ sense....ca ] is like a sub-genre of a raver, if u will, like a junglist.....get it?....so like I'm not a PLUR candy but I love raving...so I aint a raver?! whatever, besides, raves and techno with house were around before HHC.....where's that logic of yours? (and by yours, I'm not directing this to UFOT since u never mentioned HHC)
now if UFOT was talking about those "I'll bitch for nothing and everything" kinda people.....well there just whiners, period.....some of them go to these parties knowing very well before hand that they won't like it (from the flyer's info) and then they bitch. Where's the logic. If you hear an unfounded bad comment from them, just don't worry about it...I mean, like come on, if you don't like Trance, then don't go to a party with a complet Trance line-up.....I don't....it's like even a sado-masochist would be like "dude, that's stupid" because they at least enjoy getting whipped.... so in conclusion, whiners are just whiners whatever scene they're in and whether they go out or not.....that's what I think and I'm pretty sure I'm right.........right? |
