Montreal organizers say no, F1 administration says "wtf, we haven't even made the schedule yet!" If the F1 does go, we can expect the biggest weekend in Montreal gone, with $100 million+ lost across all businesses downtown. But it will probally be saved because Canada is not the only one with this law, and the F1A will have to realize this and start making comprimises. |

the announcement today is from the Formula 1 Administration, saying that the race schedule for 2004 isn't even complete yet. |

the expos, well. who cares about baseball really? and the F1, well. I dunno. It would be such a shame if it weren't on the schedule. But you know, Europe will be implementing the same laws in 2006. What is the F1 going to do then? Only have races in asia, america and australia? |

There twice the physics and strategy in F1 than most other sports. You're coming up to a sharp turn, drafting a player infront of you to pass him. What do you do? Take the inside and risk a collision but passing the player and leaving him in your dust since that player would have to slow down and let you go, or take the outside and continue to battle it out, which will waste more gas and force you to pit. Quick, you have 1.3 seconds to think about it... |
