The judge's analogy is really poor: Guns don't kill people, people kill people right? Guns are still somewhat illegal nevertheless since their primary purpose is to kill people. The same idea would apply to file sharing tools. They don't commit the infringement, the people do. But their primary purpose is to commit infringement. As for Mr Basskin: File sharing software doesn't promote artists. Guns don't promote killing either. Its the media in all its glory that does all the work. |

so please dont kill the purpose of the internet by trying to control stuff u can barely undestand(this msg was toward the mpaa,riaa and all these group of ppl who think they know whats going on and tries to outsmart the internet rats that we are ! WE WILL TAKE OVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _ |
