OPEN INVITATION TO ALL SOUNDS AND PARTY PEOPLES
::::::::::: Teknival (Tech•ni•val)::::::::::: -a FREE festival of like minded people coming together to party, dance & unify in dissent. -a celebration of DIY attitudes. -an experiment in non-hierarchical organization and an attempt to prove the merits of a money free economy. -an action of reclaiming space, utilizing public land that should be used by the public, but which often just sits there, unappreciated and unused. -the creation of an autonamous zone. A space where the normal rules of society (both social and economic) are not applicable, and a new system is put in place by it’s inhabitans. -an open invitation to all, regardless of lifestyle to get involved & MAKE SOME FUCKING NOISE!!! WITH: 613 MOBSTERS - Ottawa (Hardcore, Jungle) The Murder of Beatz stage will feature some of the sickest talent Ottawa has to offer. We plan to create a perfect atmosphere, so no matter whats your fix you can find it on our stage. Along with the MOB locals Bowzer, Darkstar, Ext, Sliz and Snuh! we will be bringing down some of the best non-hardcore DJS we have had the pleasure of knowing in the 613. DJ Hashek, Double Deckah, Devastatin' DK, Brian Blomesteyn to name a few. We will be showcasing 'choons from the hardest of hardcore to the trippiest of psychadelics. AFTERGLOW - Toronto (House, Jungle and chill beats) Afterglow is dedicated to providing educational and chillout spaces at clubs and raves throughout the GTA. We are decidated to making sure raving stays fun and enlightening by providing "brain food" in the form of chill spaces, afterparties, and instructional DJ/production sessions. Association pour le liberation du Tekno Infoline 514-409-2411 COSMIC BABIES - Toronto (Goa and Psy-Trance) Somewhere between the living forest floor and the lush canopy above, old world mysticism and contemporary disconnect will meet and convey their understanding for one another. The soundtrack for this reconnection will be deep dark psychadelic techno-trance, ranging from minimal meditations to full-power aggression. Musical guidance provided by: Quivering Virgin / Jebediah / Twitche / Satori / Basilisk / Pharmakon / Generator / Urban Aliens + more FREESPACE COLLECTIVE - Toronto (Goa and Techno) The Freespace Collective is aimed at creating free space. Space that is autonomous, space that has been reclaimed by the people, existing according to it's own rules. Our long term goal is to create a self sufficient world, free of hierarchy, free of competition. Where people can live their lives as they had dreamed, before the "reals world" crushed their idealism and their spirit. The stage will feature Full Metal Booty, Plasticmotive, RandomAznBoy, Rhythm Logic, Randy Twigg, Task, Panda, Didymos, Jackson Two Bears, Jonathan Doe, Kristian Sunflower, Psyklone, Tyco, Jane Shorthand, Divell, Gavin the Bass, Void (Sweden), Kinetix, Ray Vincent, Psyclone, DJ Malfoy, DJ Shankar + more MOODY CLUB - Toronto/Budapest (Clubby Housey Techy beats) Moodyclub has gone on to inspire such projects as LobLolly, Nimpho LIne and Extremem Productions (Spain), and gave full support to the opening of the "Club Industry" which is just outside of Budapest, Hungary. We are now looking to expand and influence the west, with the newly recognized eastern-European culture as well as utilizing internationally recognized artists/producers and DJs. Dishing out progressive deep house, low tempo jazz house, techno and chill-out. MIR - Toronto/Ottawa (D-Jungle, Dub, Breackore, Assorted) NEXT OFFENSIVE - Toronto/Ottawa (All out pounding rave) When entering a depression, you become a consensus human, a herd creature going through the motions. You go through motions of consensus: eating food from consensus restaurants, ibibing concensus perceptions, beliefs and knowledge from donsensus newspapers and magazines, feeling concensus feelings offered by concensus television, music and drama, You have become the perfect midrange roadkill... in for something different?
