I'm asking because I'm going to Vancouver. I'm leaving on sunday! Mwhahahahahaha!! This is great! I'm flying to Vancouver and driving back to Montreal with my brother! Woohoo!!! Anyhoo... I don't really care for your thughts... this was just an evil ploy to tell you that I'm going to Vancouver. I'm too excited and no one's answering their phones! |

| Coolness: 67230 | If you're going to the actuall city, its very nice and all, but chineese is to vancouver what english is to montreal. The main minority language.
It also stinks. Smells of salt water, fish, and sulphur. I suggest avoiding Richmond and East Vancouver, check out gastown's speghetti factory, grouse mountain, and goto White Rock! |

| Coolness: 122155 | yeah- my boyfriend's friend works at the old spaghetti factory in gastown. gastown turns to filth after that within a few blocks. stay away from the crack monkeys..
i don't think the city is really that nice.. it all just seemed kinda dirty to me. and now that you mention it- i saw 1 chinese person. (except when we passsed chinatown- they were all hiding there). the only oriental people i saw int he city were japanese tourists (and LOTS of them). YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI FOR 11.50 PLACE!!!!!! it's across the street from virgin recors and louis vuitton that's like the # place to visit how long are you going for? coz if your'e there for awhile- go to victoria- the ferry's like 9$ and there's whales and stuff :) |
