Metro

| My friend found this on someone's website:
"It is the newly planned system for the Montreal metro in 2010. Currently, the Henri-Bourassa-Montmorency extension is under construction. The St-Michel-Roi Rene extension paperwork is near completed. As for the rest of the extensions, I don't know much about them. All I do know is that Montreal is expected to have an extra 2 000 000 daily transport movements of people by 2010."
personally, i think the extension on the yellow line upwards would be a huge waste of time, as well as the top 1/2 of the "red line" because there's already trains running there |

| a metro from brossard to bonnaventure = rock. It would be even nicer if they had nite buses going there too. |

| i think it looks pretty. all the colours! much much more efficiet than toronto metros which only have 2 lines which connect you to retarded street cars. i think the red line is a good idea to help out the environment because all the buses that run back and forth from the south shore to the island creat a lot of pollution. the only thing is it is in 2010, to far away. |

| Yay! That poirier stop is right near spot bowling! Metro one bus away! Or if I'm a lazy bastard I can still just wait for the train and be at bonaventure in 17 minutes. |

| I like the new look of it, however, they still need metros in the west Island...
ie: Montreal-North, Lachine, Dorval, Point Claire, St. Jeans, Beaconsfield, Ste-Anne...
But that would cause alot of problems... the busses would be less packed... in fact i think nobody would take the 211 as much anymore if that happened... that goes with other busses too... but It still would be nice to have a subway going throught the west island. |

| it's likely it's fake- well maybe not "fake" but just an idea.. but like noah said, they've already started to build some of the stations (even the extension off st. michel, i saw it in the newspaper like a month ago, you can probly check the gazette's website.) i just don't think we'll ever live to see all the stops on noah's map (mite as well have a metro stop on everyone's front porch.. wait i already do... nevermind...) ;) |
