Because I choose to live a peaceful life? Because I'd call the cops or intervene if I saw such a situation? Because I don't lug a 10" knife around? Because my GF isn't armed to the teeth so that I know she's safe? There is good and bad everywhere, I sure as hell won't arm myself in order to feel safe, this isn't Afghanistan. There are violent people all over the globe, in fact I'd consider someone who films himself beating on someone with a tactical baton to be a dangerous individual. Wouldn't you? Knowing that you are capable of such things might make you more prone to want to arm yourself I guess. |

And sorry to say Alex, you know I often side with you, but your views on violence and need for it are a little off. I mean, you reap what you sow right, go to the park with a gun, get shot. That's how it werks. How can someone want to be peaceful and discuss shit when they're being threatened with some sort of weapon at the slightest bump in. I have a violent side, and that you are well aware of. But paranoia only makes it worst. Attackers can smell it a mile away. |

Some need to keep small hunting knives on them to ensure their safety.

Thats why I sat at the front near the bus driver. If that gang had attacked your girlfriend, I WOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONLY ONE TO DEFEND HER. And if you think that area is safe, think again, its literally 5 minute walk from Mackay. You wanna talk shit about rough areas, trying living in Africa where I lived, and then talk about dangerous. Over there I got stabbed when I was younger when I jumped to save a girl from getting raped. I have a huge scar right above my pelvic area which is still visible to this day. I'd do it again, and I will continue to help anyone I see in distress. Its good karma. So smarten up man and quit criticizing for the sake of critizing. I might even save your ass one day |

Quand j'entends que des femmes se font agresser en pleine rue par une gang de gars, j'ai toujours une énorme envie de former une équipe tactique. Un appat entouré d'une douzaine de gars entrainés, disparate mais a l'affut. Des que des tugs mordent a l'hamecon ils leurs tombent dessus, pis les criss dans une van noir qui les amenes loin loin loin pour les faire réfléchir... Suis-je seul a penser comme ca? Suis-je aussi trop violent? Dans les années 70/80 ya eu une recrudescence de violence dans les metro montrealais, une gang de jeunes étudiants Quebecois ont partis un crew du genre appelé *les berets vert* (c'était leurs signes distinctif). Ils furent asser présent et NOMBREUX pour faire la job. J'sais pas pour vous mais ca me met hors de moi de penser que ma femme ou ma fille pourraient se faire aggresser/pimper/secrestrer dans nos rues. On as le pouvoir de changer les chose ici a montreal avant qui soit trop tard et qu'ils croient que la rue leur appartiennent. Et on peut visiblement pas compter sur nos agents dla paix pour ca...so? Qlq aurait une meilleur idée? |
