Cool song, good structure, good beat, interesting sounds.
I find the bass a little subdued, would have been nice to hear some sweeping subs or some deep basseline to offset the gritty high end. Would have been nice to bring back the voice around the end of the song, too tie the knot. Then again, I'm no expert in drum&bass keep on truckin'
I'm feeling inner voices right now.. |

OK I looooooove your bass. It's agressive, it's clawing everywhere, it's bestial. Love it. Though In my opinion, needs more sub-bass and then if you have a sub-bass + this awesome bass you'll have a pretty heavy one that would be hard to reproduce :)
I like the strucutre (and the ending) but what about some variations during the track? The idea of taking the voice back is cool...although adding some effects of fucking it up at the end would be nice. Another thing is the lead or whatever does the melody... I find it too...dry? I would see some distortion on it just to give that little warm crunch feeling. That's my 2 cents, hope it's constructive a bit.
I'm feeling horny right now.. |

cheers! everything is taken into account, of course this is still a rough cut, levels are all over the place as I'm still working in headphones - but a) I will add a change up in the bass somewhere b) another bass sweep c) a riser d) warmer sub (when I can hear it out loud) and of course some more effects on the vocals and stuff to keep it varied and less boring. I just got the idea out and now I'm going to touch it up. So many tunes started it's hard to go back and keep touching up older ones but I'll get around to it.
Thanks for the advice! :) |
