venue is simple. Cabaret or club soda. Just a matter of how many people i could bring in.
And i think Jedi mind tricks are gonna be hitting up a tour soon...unfortunetly its with Linkin Park!! wtf... well im sure we could put on a fly hip hop show this summer...just a matter of the artist and their bookings. |

woah
bring the Arsonists? that's too big for me to handle if anything i'd let other more established hiphop show promoters handle it |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» Bunnytronix replied on Mon Apr 21, 2003 @ 2:24pm |
troo dat!
but if you like having front row implications... we can set up the booking + promo part... even if were not #1 promoters... we still have our share of the cake... Who d'you think would want them? I'll call Mark at Matador and see if he's got avails... |

Never have thrown a hip hop show...but i have thrown RAVES...stupid raves hahaha
but i dont think it can hurt to try...unless its like Luna and i lose 2500$!! stupid fire department. |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» soyfunk replied on Mon Apr 21, 2003 @ 2:31pm |
well.. they haven't had an album out in a while
and they're pretty much the ONLY hiphop act on matador right? i think alot of people would show up the hiphop crowd seem to enjoy L'X as a venue the Josh Martinez and AwolOne show was there Apokaleptic from Patrick Batemen told me he liked the venue for a hiphop show |

how much to rent for a night, i heard it was about 300$.
Cabaret is 800$ everything included. club soda 1000-1200$ |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» Bunnytronix replied on Mon Apr 21, 2003 @ 2:38pm |
Depends on who you've fucked there...
Kidding... But it depends alot on how they're feeling. 300 to 360 and 460 if you do the whole night... But they don't get alot... so it's a matter of negociating. Once you've shown that you don't want to do it at 360, they turn it down to 300... |

wOw! this underground hip hop show at cabaret would be a GREAT time to wear your BANDANA!!!! |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» Violence_Inc replied on Mon Apr 21, 2003 @ 2:41pm |
noice...
hmm now its a matter of finding an artist(s) who would be willing to fly up here. The main problem...if there are too many people, plan tickets become the killer. Like id love to bring in so solid crew...but in their 21 seconds video, i fucking counted 12 members! |
