| Coolness: 686315 | You must have gone to some really shit places, Montreal at least has extremely good food due to the incredible multiculturality of the city.. I dunno about Granby in terms of food, but in Montreal it's fairly tough to go wrong, unless you're just hitting some greasy fast-food places, then it's fairly hit or miss.. But actual restaurants here are some of the best ever! |

Maybe the people where you live cook bad or eat bad stuff...that doesn't mean we have no ressources to get the good food. ANyway you're in GRANBY , it's like saying food is bad in texas...that doesn't reprezent New-York or at all ya know..... When i went to myrtle beach,south carolina i was eating so bad.Everything was fried..... they even had fried bread at the buffet i went. |

their soup and salad were decent...their food...well...I can cook better Then again he's a vegetarian...and that's not even food, it's what food eats. So I don't expect him to know good food. The goth kids I stayed with took me to some cafe, trying to find something similar to american food? It was...well just awful. Three different kinds of mayo and not a single bit of flavor. We also ordered a pizza the next night...just as tasteless :( I'm not one for fried food...however I like it to have flavor LOVE japanese food, especially Sashimi So far the best place I've gotten food was McDonnald's and I'm not one for fast food either. Went down to Vermont today and I bought a nice steak...and well I think it was still screaming when I ate it :) :) Also think I grossed my father out, I was eating raw pieces while waiting for the grill to heat up. Only do that with very fresh, very high quality meat. My stepmom was cute, I cut a piece off and cooked it medium for her and she loved it. She's used to steamed vegetables and other tasteless foods. I don't understand how she's still alive after 2 years of this! Every time I cook for myself I make her a little plate too. I'm below a size 1 since I've been up here and nothing fits...it's a little depressing. |

| Coolness: 686315 | If you want meat in Montreal, Janos on St-Laurent is the only place to go.. The fries and salad aren't that great, but really why eat that crap when you can get a massive plate of grilled meat for two with 5 different kinds of grilled meat on it..
Pizza I haven't really found any that were that good that are near down town.. the best for me will always be Pizzalicious, but that's all the way in the west island and not really a restaurant.. best bet for pizza is really the major fast-food chains like Dominos or Pizza Hut.. For burgers or all-around awesome stuff there's a place on Mt Royal called L'Avenue that's amazing. |

| Coolness: 249300 | if you like sashimi,go to Mikado on st-denis,they have a really tasty plate full of it.That's what i like and they are really nice.I brought my friend from boston and he loved it. He even order a second plate last time.If you want amazing fries ,go to Frite alors,there's few adresses.They have a shitload of mayo types,spicy or not. If you want a shitload of meat,i would suggest you to go there,a brasilian restaurant : Le Milsa.You even have one near where you are on the south shore.
There something call the turnstill.. !0 sorts of meat on the grill all you can eat. [ www.lemilsa.com ] In the old port i can understand your deception,it's really expensive for what it is.I live there and work there i can tell you.It's the touristic corner of the city so they abuse on the price ;) |
