I think it would be better if the mic wasnt so close to ur face the whole time. Also, the speech was kinda fast. I think, perhaps, if you took longer pauses at commas, and at the end of sentences, it would come off a lot better. From 2:26-2:40 ish it was amazing; the whole video should be like that
I Dont have audio on the computer I'm on right now but I can say one thing though from watching, holding the ball of the mic, the way you do, the way 90% of performers do totally defeats the perpose of the ball.
Shure Sm58 are cardioide, witch means that they're designed to pick up directly in front of the mic. The ball on the sm58 is there for rejection, witch means that it flips the phaze on all the sound comming from behind the mic and annuls it.
When you cover the ball of the mic, you block the rejection and turn you sm58 into an omnidirectional mic that pics up sound from all around and turns the sound of the mic to shit. Unless you where born without thumbs, i would suggest you not close your hand on the ball of the mic, It will only make your sound better and yes, less feedbacks.
BTW, your paintings are sick!!! :)
Wow, at least you didn't start talking shit about me in your interview lol...
I was expecting some bullshit like "Oh yeah and this guy Bliss man, I fucking hate him, he's dosen't take shit from me" or whatever
Anyhow you got some good paintings and you're actually quite good at it, so my advice is stick to it, since thats what you're into
Also, quite moaning about this and that, there's no need to shit on everyone else like someones holding you down in some kindof conspiracy, no ones preventing you and others from doing your art and getting it out there
Remember one day you might have your paintings in some famous gallery and you'll have to deal with some other frustrated artist who's gonna moan about how his painting should be there and not yours.
Just do your thing, maintain your integrity and the fame will come soon enough
i wasnt trying to hate. I think the guy is talented as far as his paintings and other skills go. And as far as the material in the video and the format, i liked. The speech just bothered me, but maybe its just me :P
