Sure it was harder then most because we shared the same bedroom and bed but still Ive livwed with strangers and ived also lived with some school mates before all in all i prefer being alone no one eats my food, or akes my booze and i control my noise levels. I also dont bring in sketchy guests. All previous problems Ive had. Oh and Ive heard the whole "i spent too much on parties and cant afford food and my share of the bill..." |

I guess Im kinda dealing with it slowly. I applied for emergency housing with U of T...hopefully I get it. No word back yet tho. I was also got a hold of my ex-roommates bro, and he told me there was some money coming in the mail...anywhere btwn 500-1200. As far as hes concerned its not his problem, cuz he doesnt owe me money; and he told me to sue his sister for the rest of money. Seeing how Im owed 700 for rent in sept and 700 for last month rent at a minimum, Im really unhappy. Its also going to cost 200$ to move my shit cuz half my shit will go to a u of t residence, and my bed and dresser has to go into storage (no moving furniture into u of t) which is going to be about 80$ a month. And u of t residence is about 150$ more a month than I wanted to spend (840 vs 700) which again, kills. But at this point I dont have a choice. My old roommate (whose couch Im crashing on) starts his med-school rotations in 2 weeks, so if I dont have a new place by then Ill only be able to get home after mid-night and will have to be ready to go at 630 am. I managed to get a credit increase of my credit cards tho (lol), so that will help I guess. Ive thought about it, and Im probably going to sue her for the 2800$ if I get less than 1400 cuz getting that amount back (1400) is pretty objective; Im owed it, so am guaranteed to win atleast that much if I go to court, in which case she has to pay my court fees. But Im gonna wait for the cheque to come, try and communicate my position and if that fails to get my 1400, Ill start filing the paperwork in early October. |
