This swine flu psychosis everyone is having is the biggest media scare since the y2k bug. The peoples working in the tourism industry will literally starve to death before the swine flu gets them.

From the World Heath Organization' s web site.

1 May 2009
Is it safe to travel?

WHO is not recommending travel restrictions related to the outbreak of the influenza A(H1N1) virus. Today, international travel moves rapidly, with large numbers of individuals visiting various parts the world. Limiting travel and imposing travel restrictions would have very little effect on stopping the virus from spreading, but would be highly disruptive to the global community.

Influenza A(H1N1) has already been confirmed in many parts of the world. The focus now is on minimizing the impact of the virus through the rapid identification of cases and providing patients with appropriate medical care, rather than on stopping its spread internationally. Furthermore, although identifying the signs and symptoms of influenza in travellers can be an effective monitoring technique, it is not effective in reducing the spread of influenza as the virus can be transmitted from person to person before the onset of symptoms. Scientific research based on mathematical modelling indicates that restricting travel will be of limited or no benefit in stopping the spread of disease.

However, if you need to see a doctor, fast, just say that you are back from Mexico and you have a cough, they will see you within a half hour.

Its surprising how efficient our medical system can be when they give half a shit.

again media deforming everything , h1n1 is of mediocre scale, h1n5 and surrounding new disease are of real importance to take under consideration

Influenza A virus subtype H5N2

Influenza A virus subtype H5N9

Influenza A virus subtype H7N1

H7N1 is a subtype of the species Influenza A virus (sometimes called bird flu virus).

A highly pathogenic strain of it caused a flu outbreak with significant spread to numerous farms, resulting in great economic losses in 1999 in Italy in turkeys. [1]

and the list goes on, basic intro to this is all listed in wikipedia at the bottom table at the bottom of thoses pages, the fact is the virus is mutating and this is the situation :

a virus is a lifeform , worse than a bad roommate the has to be kicked out, this is somthing against humanity and weather or not your thinking this is a joke, its ought to get us all.

well if half the earth population disappears, I'll say it again but I think it won't be a bad thing. Maybe when we are a lot less our planet can get its balance back. But I don't believe here we will be dying from this one

the problem is that virus dont decide if they kill kids or good people , its everything they can nab on.

maybe not now. but as long as virus dont grow NATURALLY to cyclosarin, sarin, anthrax or any bacteriologic weapon counterpart well be ok. from natural selection WE are stronger, but choosing to revert our rank in the selection would be like wanting to go for a swim in a pihrana tank.

were you aware of this:

Binary_chemical_weapon

humans made warfair virus/bacterial weapon till the 90s. the last one cyclo sarin is one of the deadlyest. [ en.wikipedia.org ]

some survive fire, confinement, lack of air, centuries under water etc..

and when it goes out its still as potent as it was when it was made.

we are evoution , the top of the pile , humans should act as such

I'm not saying I hope bad men and ugly people die, all I said is we are already too many on this earth. And something is bound to happen to us one day for sure, we played god way too many times.

But for now, Quebec people shouldn't worry too much about a FLU
