 Coolness: 151160 | It's really scary going to Fouf's these days because everyone there is 17-18 years old. Now I don't mind ogling some young girls, and the music is pretty good, but it's a little frightening when you start feel old when you're only 25. I looked around me and thought to myself: "Jesus Christ! Was I acting this way 5-years ago?" Lors d'une discussion avec un ami, un maître de sabre lui proposa de lui présenter ses fils. Pour tester leurs capacités, il plaça un seau d'eau sur le dessus de la porte, pour piéger l'entrée. Puis il convoqua l'aîné, qui prit conscience du danger, avant d'entrer. Il ouvrit la porte en reculant immédiatement, pour s'adapter à la situation. "C'est mon fils aîné", expliqua le maître, "il se prépare pour la maîtrise". Puis il convoqua le suivant. Le cadet, moins avancé que son frère, se fit surprendre en poussant la porte. Mais en esquivant, il eut largement le temps d'éviter le seau. "Mon fils cadet est sur la bonne voie, mais il lui reste encore beaucoup à apprendre". Le benjamin, quant à lui, ne vit que du feu : en ouvrant la porte, le seau le heurta de plein fouet, mais il eut le réflexe de dégainer son katana et d'exploser le seau avant qu'il ne touche le sol. "Voici mon petit dernier : il n'en est qu'à ses débuts... mais il est encore très jeune". Ce conte d'autrefois est une véritable leçon de modestie pour nous-autres, Occidentaux. Chez nous, on voit très rarement un pratiquant d'arts martiaux dépasser le stade du benjamin. |
