 Coolness: 55055 | yo just got back from the asphalt jungle....a 40 minute walk in the rain didn't faze me. I just made my coffee with shades on. I had a fucking blast.
I had heard about the fabled 62 rachel location but had never been. I now know why people say it's cool. The layout is fantastic for dancing *woot woot* and the 2nd floor bar/band area was great (didn't really get to hear the bands, i was only up there long enough to get boozems). Fantastic vibes! People were wayyy cool, got to meet Ross from out west (he blows glass for a living...wicked). The first DJ kicked ass(Ammo?), it's too bad the party was just starting, cause he layed down some great beats. MISS BLISS MISS BLISS MISSS BLLIIISSS! Damn....she played some sexy shit! Got me groovin...the music was wicked all night until....i'll get into that later The general vibe was really cool,people were really nice. Coat check girl had a beautiful smile and was really friendly! Bartenders were cool,dudes at the door were cool,everybody was cool! OK the only crappy part was due to the fact that i can't handle more than 1 hour of straight reggea. I dig it but after an hour and a half i had to go!! so i left... On the way home i put on my shades cause the rain was hurting my eyeballs(did i mention i got pretty smashed?)...at one point 2 people were about 50 feet away and i heard "heheh i think he's coming from the party" ....20 feet away "ya, he's coming from the party!"....the chick gave me a huge friendly smile(i love REAL smiles)...heheheheh i LOVE little things like that..i giggled all the way home walked home enjoying the rain, vowed to go back to any party held there!! Overall kick ass night! Thanks to everybody who worked on it! :) Oh ya, cool stuff like cargo nets,stacked tv's and art....lasers and shit, high tech y'know now it's coffee time...hope y'all had a great night too! :) |
