Don't you think there is a difference between a movie who has already made a couple millions when it it's the DVD (and more easely downloadable) and music?

(I know all movie don't make million but I don't feel bad downloading something who has already made 5x the price it cost to make... compare to an artist who made almost nothing on the track he worked so hard on...)

I don't really mind movies, but I pay way more often for my music...
I'm feeling gabber bitch right now..

the people at wrong music give their mp3 for free, if you like you can buy it in album format and support feeding the artist. they're revolutionnaire in genre.

but their hardcore breakcore artist, they will still be stadium dj who at all cost will prevent copy even for yourself.

at sompoint somebody pays still from this concept, and were getting two feets into capitalism/communism issues.

would you buy back to the future or copy it.

were goes the money when you buy thew first season of the outter limits ?? twilight zone, there all dead ! only the studio makes money . or it goes to the bank, on loans or pays champaing.

smaller scale artist can get verry greedy too, beware,

shidy has a good point

besides, nothing is free.

just get yourself a standard dj mixer & cdj to start, then get turntables when you cab afford them, 'cause it's worth it. i always play with both anyway...you never know what situation you'll be in. Plus there's a whole world of techno out there on vinyl, don't have to limit yourself to freeform, and alot of stuff only on CD & fun stuff to DL ... .. .

try both and see if you like both, or prefer one over the other ... and basically shop around.

what do we remix, old samples of movies. what do we use to create , the computer, instant remix on image i say, plus get attention right away if some one goes tru that direction.

its the proper time , the readers dont have protection features yet. but expect it soon.

im curious, when you play music to the public? like in club or raves, do you buy the track or download them?

if you play a movie in a theater, will you play a divx ripped movie or a legal copy of it.

im not saying if you listen to them at home, do what you wanna do, but for public plays, BUY THEM.

to each is own. That's my way of looking at it.
It makes me feel ok with myself to act this way, no remorse :)

Everyonw chooses how to act when facing "good or bad" situation (here it's "stealing")

That's my way of having a "bad behavior" but a clean conscience.

the problem isnt how much money is maid by the said media, the problem is will YOU make money out of it?

i dont care if someone download my tracks illegally on torrents to listen to them at home, but dont play it in rave/club/bar/wtv. buy them if you intend to.

so clean conscience = no hypocrisy. Really, i was jut curious.

And to answer Deadfunk. Some chick wanting to mix in her bedroom out of hobby doesn't quite constitute playing for ppl and getting paid, does it. Remember the context of the OP's question. Also, if you play tracks you produced for ppl, did you buy the software?

No_Comply, stealing is hypocrit. final.

I never said it was not.

We all steal, we all lie, we are all hypocrit.

But to a certain degres I feel better stealing for big production than small ones. That's it. I don't know why you fing it so wrong...

i buy my stuff, were is the difference when you have a store next door that rent , thank god, originals, and the artist doesnt make more money on em, shure there is the crtc tag, and they
look at the annual incom, but no money goes to the artist. so whats your point ?

i said i have found labels that GIVE their music away, you have Nine inch nails too that gave the
last album away. now their selling it with the label cover and plastic sleeve. and still can copy it.

were is the difference , because new comers didnt make THAT money, what tells you they ever will,
how can you claim somthing that isnt yours in the first place, shure they made the track and its
thirs, but the legal extend of their deals has so many flaws like the rentals, the public broadcast on radios, club mixes, underground partys and remixes.

are you working on a remix now ? have you called the artist BEFORE making the rip to ask them if
they want , or have you just went ahead and use it and fell in love with the remix reforehand.

you have to make concert when your an artist go on tour, dont expect to become a millionaire from home

she wants to mix from home , try a few things , why jump to BUY BUY BUY , she has to buy equipment first, what if she doesnt like, the equipment will go back to someone else, if she like the tracks she will prob buy and keeps
