Alex, I've yet to hear anything about Obama legalizing weed.. I don't recall him ever promising that.
I'm feeling pompous right now.. |

In the beginning, he was for the legalization. But then he understood that a majority of americans didn't agree with him on that point at all and that he wouldn't get elected if he kept wanting to legalize.
I'm feeling ecstatic right now.. |

Last fall during a nationally televised presidential debate, Sen. Barack Obama hesitantly raised his hand and joined with most of his Democratic rivals to declare that he opposed decriminalizing marijuana. But as a candidate for the U.S. Senate four years ago, Mr. Obama told Illinois college students that he supported eliminating criminal penalties for marijuana use or possession, according to a videotape of a little noticed debate that was obtained by The Washington Times. Asked about the two different answers, Mr. Obama's presidential campaign said he in fact has "always" supported decriminalizing marijuana as he answered in 2004, meaning the candidate mistakenly raised his hand during the presidential debate last fall.

woah i just woke up and i'm still so happy and excited...
obama and mccain are verry different and i don't think he's a "puppet"... he never pretended to be a revolutionary he's a centrist.. and i think that's what america needs right now... for the peeps who pretend he's a "puppet" duuuuude the fucking president of USA is hanging out w/ friends who were in the weather underground... i mean i don't promote violence for a cause but he's the best think that could happen to america... fuck i'm so happyyyyyyyyyyyyy for the curious that's what obama wrote to me and all the democrats last night: Friend -- I'm about to head to Grant Park to talk to everyone gathered there, but I wanted to write to you first. We just made history. And I don't want you to forget how we did it. You made history every single day during this campaign -- every day you knocked on doors, made a donation, or talked to your family, friends, and neighbors about why you believe it's time for change. I want to thank all of you who gave your time, talent, and passion to this campaign. We have a lot of work to do to get our country back on track, and I'll be in touch soon about what comes next. But I want to be very clear about one thing... All of this happened because of you. Thank you, Barack WWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTT PARTY!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOO
I'm feeling hitched right now.. |

America neads a centrist government because it is broke at so many levels. But will Obama pull american troops out of Irak? He's not planing to. Will he invest in infrastructure? Doubtfull, he's even planing on cutting taxes. so with what money? As soon as he has finished throwing money on the economic crissis and the occupation of Afganistan and Irak, what will be left for say, medicare? Will he renounce the patriot act? doubtfull. Obama has still done nothing, and all ready he is being heralded as a saviour. Just cus he's half black and realy charismatic, doesnt mean he will bring the kind of change the Americans are expecting (whatever that is) but at least we wont have to se Bush's possie for an other 4 years. Please peoples, dont fall for the good cop, bad cop routine (good prez, bad prez)... I truly hope i am wrong, i guess time will tell.

I dont think Mccain had much of a chance this time around and will probably be dead by the next elections. Would he have been better than Obama? Its pretty hard to say. I do think however that they both would have been beter than Bush jr.
