I don't know, but one of them has purple rings on his sleeves.

That's enough reason for me to join their club.
I'm feeling in venomous bloom right now..

No, it's probably Ukraine you talking about with the city of Chernobyl

It's now official, it's an all state war. Diplomatic talks have failed 2 times(if not 3) with the UN. The lost are 1600 civilians killed, 2 russian planes were shot down but Georgia claimed 6 were, 30 Georgian soldiers and 15 russian soldiers have been killed say the official news...but I think it's bullshit. Now Georgia is bringing its 2000 troop based in Iraq back to georgia to help defend the country, they will be back in 3 days.

For the future: In my opinion, I think Georgia is waiting for a western help but I dont think it will come, well, if Russia dont start a genocide or do stupid things but for now anything can happen...
I'm feeling stalker right now..

You mean, the US supplying them with weapons and training for the past few years doesn't count? I'll bet that the troops being brought in from iraq are being brought by the US army, in US transports, doesn't count, either..
I'm feeling fucking horny right now..

i think it's a little different dude, it's a much smaller country and not nearly as tough to fight in as afganistan...besides it's like thirty years latter the russian's have gps today,

what exactly are russia's 'objectives' in this conflict anyway,?
I'm feeling surly right now..

^Like i said before " South Ossetia wants to become independent or join Russian Confederation, Georgia says to its province no no, Russia moves it to protect Ossetia."

Same thing with Abkhazia ( who wants independence i think ) which is ironic because during the Soviet Era, USSR tried to wipe out the Abkhazia language and culture.

to flex its muscles..

..to control oil and natural gas to Europe. That's one reason. Europe is addicted to Russia's resources.

Georgia is not all like Afghanistan... and Russia Federation is not at all like USSR.

Afghanistan kicked the British Empire a century ago. It's a mountainous regions.
Many tribal wars, so they all experienced fighters. And then you have the mujahideens. So there.

Since early 2002, the U.S. government has given a healthy amount of military aid to Georgia. When I last visited South Ossetia, Georgian troops manned a checkpoint outside Tskhinvali -- decked out in surplus U.S. Army uniforms and new body armor.

Yes, I checked that, also they are currently replacing their ak-47 by US M-4, it started january 2008. In some photo you can see Georgian soldiers with ak-47 other with M-4 so I guess the change is not finnished yet.

Good news!!! A cease-fire have been signed! The war is over.
