Pretty much what I do :D Most of the time. I have to admit however that I can get pretty riled up when some people push the proper buttons. I should learn to let go.

Jojo after a happy hardcore event.

Databoy, I get what you mean. I had assumed from your comment that you equaled acid takers with hippies, with revolutionaries.

I assumed wrong, as you've know explained. Man, this post has really derailed.

Thats whats great about it.

We can debate about the puppet on the right or the left, but i doubt that we will come up with anything that has not already been said a 1000 times.

Its when you leave the trail that you discover the most beautiful/interesting things.

Heh, I'm 3 pages late already.
I'll be more blunt than DrN. and V2-1 on the Horus subject: YOU AIN'T TEACHING SHIT. YOU'RE SIMPLY SPEWING UP A BUNCH OF SEMANTIC BULLSHIT. Not everyone thinks inside the metaphorical box, and it's unfair to think that you're the only one able to think outside of it.

I stand by my "high horse" metaphor, and please Mr. Horus sir, if you ever notice me at a party, please come and call me "shithead" to my face. Then I'll have some sort of respect for you, as a man who stands by his affirmations.

As for Clinton, I'll only be saying this: the US are somewhat backwards on the whole woman-in-a-leadership-role. I mean, Angela Merkel, Benazir Bhutto (RIP), Kim Campbell (alright, so 6 months is a bad example)... AFAIK, Germany's Chancellor has more relative power than the American president... Same goes for a Canadian PM.

Would've been a historical moment for the US, but not really a world-changing event. A black leader in the US, well.. That'd be more impressive, IMHO.

...
Oh, and I need to try acid once in my lifetime.
I'm feeling 1up right now..

MASA
, I think Horus is a teacher and not to take his defense, I can understand that if I were to look around at teachers in our schools today, I'd have second thoughts about sending my children there. The education system is in total disarray.

So I see where he's going with this but I still don't approve of the methods used. A bit far too invasive for my own taste. Still, I at least respect what he is attempting to do. I don't understand the need to but I can't personally judge that.

Lord knows, I have attempted to " talk some sense into the younger new kids on the rave scene " on Technodium long enough to have dropped that " crusade " and just, well, relaxed my tensed shoulders and started talking shit on here. :)

---------------------

As for the US presidency, of all candidates, Obama is the only that seems to think this whole Iraqi war was a big mistake and looking to gradually remove troops from there slowly.

McCain and Clinton are fucking cowboys. McCain wants to send MORE troops and extend the war by a few more years ( as if the US was economically stable enough to continue sending gazillions of dollars over there every year ) and Clinton, in her infinite feminine wisdom, is the candidate that has her head on backwards the most. She too compained FOR the war in Iraq and decided to throw some overpriced petrol on the fire by practically sending an ultimatum to Iran saying " if you don't calm the fuck down and continue to insult us, we will send troops in your backyard as well ".

Yes. Let's continue perpetrating what the US is known for around the globe : sticking its fucking nose in everybody else's business.

-----------------------------

And yes, try acid. At least once. It's something else.
I'm feeling hospital records right now..

Everyone on earth should be required to take acid once in his life. As a sort of rite of initiation.

Heh, you know I respect your opinion. a lot. You're definitely one of the saner RWers :)

That being said, I get what you're saying, BUT... If he's indeed a "teacher", I'm not sure he's getting his message through clearly. I don't consider myself dumb, yet you really have to read between the lines to find his premises.

And I hate such blatant displays of ego. But that was my main argument way back when he first started all this.

And I hate that he himself succumbs to the stigma of "ravers" as mindless, drug-fueled idiots.

Besides, his message is not all that new or groundbreaking. Thing is, imHo, "counter-culture" (if I may dub it that way) is now pretty much a "culture" in its own right...

... Heh, I'm done trying.

I'm with you on the whole US thing, though. Glad I'm not the only one who sees Hillary as a hawk, more so than her husband is.

And yeah, I'll try as soon as I find a good hook-up. :)

Yeah, Mr. Horus sir, I do.

You feel so strongly about your groundbreaking ideals yet for all your openness, you don't seem to realize that A LOT of us tend to apply what you're trying to teach, in their own personal way.

You felt so strongly about this that you felt the need to call me a shithead. I'm just hoping you'll have the courage of your convictions out of an internet msgboard. If you don't, then I guess I can't have respect for you (even if I disagree with your "teaching" methods).

It would be pretty nice if you got even close to understand what I'm talking about before typing a response.

Masa, do I think ravers are mindless idiots? You read my thoughts? And about my "blatant displays of ego" you may be sure they are that, but you may also be wrong. You know, this being the internet and all.

Exactly. Counter-culture is still 100% within the conceptual universe.

Actually believing that I mean that speaks volume of not getting what I am writing. But that's OK coz it's normal to use intellect when trying to "get" what someone says. No blame.

Go out, save a kitten, make the world a better place.

Or keep on with your intellect jerking attitude.

Really, I don't care.

I'm glad you see me as a force opposed to you.

Being put on the same side of the fence would make me feel terribly uneasy.
Just like taking a walk with a retarded cousin who humps on every trees he sees.
