THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH WINDOWS... AND THE PROBLEM WILL MOST LIKELY COME BACK IF YOU DON'T GO BUY AND FRENCH KEYBOARD TO REVERSE THE POLARITY. IF YOUR ON A MAC THE BEST WAY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM WOULD BE TO RESTORE YOUR LANGUAGE SETTINGS TO DEFAULT BY THROWING YOUR SYSTEM FOLDER IN THE TRASH. HOPE THAT HELPS!!!

A "problem"? What's the problem exactly? PEBKAC??? It depends on your keyboard language settings versus what type of physical keyboard you have. If you're keyboard is english and you set it to french that's exactly what's supposed to happen and that's what happens. You can set a key to automatically switch between keyboard languages as well.

If you're really confused just use the on-screen keyboard to check. start->sccessories->accessibility->on-screen keyboard. Now you never have to ask again. If you're wondering why it's using the wrong language go check the settings in control panel->language options->detail and you can take off the damn short cut.

I love how it's always Windows fault that people don't know how to use it.
I'm feeling bored right now..
