Join up promoters and ravers for a manifestation against the new anti-rave/anti-afterhours law that the city of Montreal will vote upon the 28 march 2003.
This law is inacceptable on many points: --> Only the Bigest commercial monstruosity will be able to produce events (Bal en blanc and other shits) --> This is the death of the local artists/promoters --> The law will increase the nuber of illegals events --> In concequences there will be more accident and other troubles that can be avoided Unite Ravers and Promoters! We must do something againts it! This is the last line of fighters in an anti-violent manifestation, it will be a musical manifestation! The show must goes on ... |

yeah, why would they have an anti-rave law?
it's not like the people who go to raves do anything illegal... It's not like the promoters are criminals... oh.. wait. |

"--> The law will increase the nuber of illegals events

after hours clubs will no longer be allowed in the rosemont-maisonneuve district in montreal... the after hours clubs that are presently open can remain functional, but there were 2 others that were supposed to open in mid-may and november, and they have been stopped... |

I doubt that a bunch of ravers in fun furs on E will make any difference... but setting them all on fire would...

I find this funny cause illegal events were the only ones I wasn't harassed by echo wearing speed dealers.
MORE ILLEGAL PARTIES PLEASE |

uhm...
I don't think an anti-afterhours law would go through because afterhour clubs generate huge profits and considering that Aria, Stereo, and Sona are the biggest afterhours in all of Canada, and are respected clubs world wide, AND within reasonable walking distance, they generate huge amounts of tourism for the city. As for hurting local artists, last I checked, Montreal isn't going to make a particular genre of music illegal. And now, as for joining together to fight against this, you obviously haven't been on this board for very long. Everyone hates it, but no one gives two shits to do anything about it. |
