 Coolness: 36165 | On New Years Eve, at the end of 2003, one of Toronto's most loved and respected hardcore organizations, Goodfellaz Crew, took over two floors of an empty art gallery in downtown Toronto. For one magical night, they transformed that space into a bastion of hardcore music and a beacon of hardcore raving. "Timebomb" was one of the epochal raves of Toronto hardcore history.
A tradition was born. With Ultraviolet Sky in 2004, and Time 2 Move closing out 2005, the Goodfellaz Crew continued to bring DJs, MCs, and ravers from all over the world together to usher in a new year of raving with the hardcore sounds that each of us holds dear to our heart. Last year, Goodfellaz Crew joined forces with Nocturnal Commissions, Toronto's happy hooligans, to continue that tradition with Kenya Dig It. Once again, ravers from across the continent were united to start the year off proper and set the tone for what promised to be an epic year of hardcore. Temple of Dreams, Kings of the Jungle 2, Link to the Rave, 4:20 Massive, One More Group Hug, Candy Ball, Total Request Rave 2... 2007 has seen Toronto's rave community take new strides, in new directions, with music new and old, and friends the same. Kix [USA] vs Bliss [USA] - Hardcore/DnB Just 4 You, Nocturnal Commissions The core of Rochester's rave community, and always a treat to have in Toronto, Kix and Bliss have dominated the dance floor at NC events in the past, and we can't wait to see what tricks these perennial crowd-pleasers have got up their sleeves for this one! Smoke [USA] b2b Spanx [USA] - Happy Hardcore Ravers Only The folks behind Raver's Only and Candy Ball have been putting on some of North America's happiest events down in New York City, and we are honoured to have them join us for their own special brand of truly happy hardcore! Chucks [USA] - Happy Hardcore Buffalo Ravers Long a supporter of hardcore in the area, Chucks has been practicing up behind the decks for the last year, and he's finally ready to unveil his selection of uplifting, euphoric hardcore to get the night started proper! As always, this event will feature fresh fruit and candy all night long to help you keep your energy up, decor by the NC Dream Builders, newbie kits from Team Awesome, and cds and giveaways all night long!
