| Coolness: 131845 | na im asking cause , buying my neibours bike thats picking dust on its front lawn with a " 5$ " sign warping on it cost way less , and imo bixie's complete overall gear . the racks the machines , etc..
on top they must be delivered by vans , and other cargo , such as boat etc.. to bring the cashing machines over here can be quite lucrative and not much of a change in the short (and imo long) run. they are dozent of bike recycling around town , and instead of giving them the contract mtl went like it usually does , you know that contractor scams and all... appel doffre wtf |

au lieu de pogné un bon bicycle usagé a 50$ pour la vie qui te permet d'être en meilleur shape (parce que les bixie c'est des vélo de touriste, c'est pas fait pour être conduit longtemps, pour des questions de posture et d'efficacité) et pour faire attention à l'environnement j'ai rien contre les bixie, jtrouve juste vriament bizarre comment certain peux voir ça comme un avantage, quand y'en a des meilleurs. la seule chose qui est cool de bixie, personnellement, c'est de laissé ton bicycle à quelque pars, et pas te soucier de devoir aller le rechercher, etc. si tu veux pu faire de bicycle tu le met dans le raque pis t'as pu besoin d'y pensé. Mais en même temps, c'est pas comme si trouvé un spot pour ton bicycle et y retourner quand tu veux était bien compliquer non plus! c'est cool que sa pousse les gens a faire du bicycle, c'est quand même une bonne façon, pour la ville, de fouerré les citoyens en leur faisant payé pour quelque chose qui pourrait trouver mieux et plus cheap (monétairement parlant, bien sure) |

ou offrir un service qui indique ou les gens peuvent facilement acheter des bicycle refait pour pas cher avec une belle map de toutes nos piste cyclables! en plus 80$ par année, mois 4 mois en hivers minimum ou il retire leur distributrice de bicycle comparé a si ta ton propre bicycle, et si t'as pas de problème a le conduire en hiver, que tu peux utiliser a grandeur de l'année |

1) finding a place to stash it so that it won't get stolen 2) repairs and repair costs Why do people prefer busses over subways? Why do some people prefer beef over chicken? There are tons of ways you can make the environment better and it's not a competition. Owning a bike has pros and cons; not having to worry about a bixi has pros and cons. One is not better and one shouldn't feel "inferior" for choosing the least worrying way to ride on bike :) Daf, la ville fourre pas le monde. Si la ville forçait les gens à prendre le vélo et chargeait des prix intenses pour ça, okay. La, c'est un choix. Un choix qui est moins cher qu'un an de bus et metro, moins cher que conduire une voiture. Un choix. Tu le choisis ou non. T'es même pas obligé de t'abonner: tu peux prendre un trajet en payant avec ta carte de credit pour quoi... 1.50$ le 30 minutes? Bixi c'est super. C'est juste moins attrayant si le seul aspect qui t'importe est le montant que ça te coute. Moi j'adore :) |

Most people who use it would use other eco-friendly means of transportation, such as their own bikes or walking, instead, if it didn't exist. Still a nice idea, but they're not the best rides, IMHO. Ca m'a quand même remit en shape cet été, côté cardio, ça m'a fait économiser les passes de metro que j'ai pas acheté et ça m'a permit de prendre l'air à tout les jours :) |

| Coolness: 131845 | repair cost ? dude a 10 speed is worth 10 $ i repaired by firends bike that he didnt use and cought rust for 3 winters using a can of wd40 . total cost of repair 3.95$. and wd40 is made of fish oil , so not much of a whole for the ozone if you ask me.
unless you bling everthing new , you can get parts made 40 years ago that can retrofit a new 10 speed. i cant say the same for a bixie. who repairs them ? and did they use their car to go to work ? prolly transported by van ? administration takes how much percentage ? dont just jump on crazy justification like a salesperson , im not even talking about taxi and bus even fucking tramways , theses are a whole other ball game , like i said , recycling stores / points all around town . shure its fun to leave house without a backpack . but youll eventually need that friggin backpack , lets not go crazy on laws of phisics treehuggers , i see full racks of bixies doing squat shit. imo thats as much waste as electric scooters that cant hit 3mph |

i traveled from st-michel near henri bourassa to place ville marie every day never got it stolen , hiding is an art, in plain sight is harder than where nobody can see each bike i got stolen when i was a kid got stolen cus i tried to hid it from public eye , cheap lock or i didnt safen properly. at 80$ you can get 16 10 speed stolen and you still arent promoting this huge ... scam |
