Personally didn't enjoy Martyrs too much.

But then, I never enjoyed Hostel either.

Last movie I saw was Book of Eli, whose pro-christian agenda ruined my fun.

Would have been a good Fallout-esque movie otherwise. It was great to see Denzel fight and Gary Oldman is still the greatest villain actor there is but when the plot of the entire movie rests on a bible (and how it will redeem mankind!), it gets stupid fast.
I'm feeling cough right now..

I'm feeling kiss me, im shitface right now..

REC 2, sequel to REC. Quarantine is a remake of REC.

I like Quarantine a bit more than REC, but after watching REC 2, I need to watch the RECs back to back. At least, they took a different path than the usual biological runaway flu virus or ferocious rabies.

Yeah they're pretty well made.. the only thing that I don't like much is that ever since watching a really bad british zombie movie shot on cameras like the REC movies, now that kind of film gives me hardcore motion sickness and migranes, something that they never did before..

But the twist in REC2 was fucking awesome, I really love how they tied the two movies together.. like the 2nd one is literally starting during the last 5 minutes of the first..
I'm feeling like a drama magnet right now..

Now I can appreciated REC more.
Wait till the first "CCTV" movie comes out. haha. That would be horrible.

I think I'd seen one like that before.. maybe not a whole movie, but quite a lot of one was CCTV footage.. just don't remember what it was anymore..

Iron Man 2. A little more frazzle-dazzle than the first. A lateral step in terms of storyline. And, as so many times before, a very weak antagonist. But overall, I'd rate this flick 3.5 greasy cheeeseburgers out of 5 coronary bypasses!

Def'n'ly worthy a look.
I'm feeling the schizzle! right now..

Really good documentary about India starting from 10,000 years ago up to today...

It's pretty interesting how large cities of millions of people disappeared because of rivers drying up or flooding. Makes me wonder what would happen if the St-Laurence river dried up in a period of 50 years... Where would we all go...

June 8th 1984, a little movie came out that some of you may have heard of before...

Ghostbusters!

It's 26 years old today, and the effects still look better than almost every other movie that's come out since! Nothing looks fake, nothing looks "too CG".. And the tripple-threat comedy of Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd and Harold Ramis together makes it one of the funniest movies ever as well!

I'm never going to get sick of this movie

Well the stop-motion monsters could have been better but I agree that the rest of the FX are awesome :)
I've read somewhere that no computer at all was used. Great job. We did stop motion and drew on 35mm at college. That was freakin' long and tough! and ugly. lol

Empire of the Sun (1987)

Spielberg. Yet...
I'd seen it as a young teen, story of a spoiled British kid who ends up in a POW camp during the Japanese occupation of China, WWII.

Superb movie. Definitely worth the watch.

And spoiler (at least for me, watching the movie for the first time in more than a decade)...
