Asian Smiths ;)

Foxfire.
Hysterical teens, Angelina Jolie's boobs and bum attitude, that's it. Recommend: Not if you are over 17 years old

"Hairspray" an absolutly delightful musical. Amazing performance of John Travolta, Christofer Walken, Michelle Pfeiffer, Amanda Baynes, Queen Latifa and many others. All of them singing and having amazing voices on great lyrics prefectly rythmic. Great humour and nice story. This movie goes now on my favorite list. 10/10
I'm feeling back to reality right now.. |

Last movie: G-Men (1935)
Comment: James Cagney as the new FBI recruit, one whose methods of work and knowledge will finally bring the Department of Justice to finish the crime rings of the prohibition period. Typical "Dick Tracy" kind of movie. Cangey is, as always, true to himself; he brings charm and a certain humour to a rather dark gangster movie. Do I recomend: If you're a fan of classic gangster movies and are unafraid of seeing twenty actors with almost the same face (it was annoying at time, trying to figure out who was who), then this is a movie for you. Update » DCRn wrote on Sun Dec 9, 2007 @ 6:19pm Last Movie: Kansas City Confidential (1952)
Comment: An ex-con is framed for a bank robbery by an ex-cop who decided to make it big. The con goes to Mexico in order to find who framed him. This is a "noir" as you can get. People in fedoras hitting one another, plot twists and reversals and a constant state of tension and paranoia. The culprits all wore masks and none knew each other prior to the event; will they find out that the man next to them is our hero? Will the hero prevail before the ex-cop finds out who replaced one of his men? Do I recommend? If you like police/gangster movies with a touch of paranoia, go for it. You really have to dig the film noir genre, though.

holy shit was this bad... serious pacing problems, contrived (even for a monster flic) and generally very poorly written...

Last Movie: atonement (expiation)
