 Coolness: 39030 | so much so, that I decided to cover it... The only motivation behind this cover is that I thought it would make a nice electronic track... and i'm pretty happy with the result...
I did it with Ableton Live, took one loop from the original track, which can be heard at the start of the track - added some filter, wrote some drum patterns, and did all the synths/bass using a Korg MS-10... beautiful one-oscillator synth, first made in 1978... loaned to me by a friend... I agree, I'm normally a little lazy with completing projects once they're rendered... I need to go back and tweak it a bit... I think even a bit more reverb on the snare would work for me... personally i like the 606 snare sound for that, nice and mellow... something harder would take away from it IMHO... but you're right, it's a little dry |

 Coolness: 106395 | First off, i'm not a fan of remix's. But this one sounds prety good. Nice ambiances. The drum does lack a little power, in my opinion. Where is the hi-hat? lost in the mix? Kinda sounds like the one arm drummer. The baseline sounds nice but could be a little more focused
