 Coolness: 686325 | I've still got a whole bunch, I think I've got 4 decks still put together.. I used to play at a couple of place all the time.. For a while at Le Marche Clandestin on Ontario there would be weekly tournaments, and after that was over every friday a group of about 20 magic players would get together at the little Croisanterie across the street from Cine Express and play magic and board games all night long.
A couple of games would be great, though! |

| Coolness: 686325 | heh I've got a whole bunch of decks still together.. man I remember the games we used to do.. Pretty much the whole group of firends that played together really ended up playing more for fun than for winning (that was reserved for tournaments :P)
We'd all give each other breathing space and not be too cut-throat 'cause we wanted to get our decks really rolling against each other to pull out all the crazy combos we'd thought up. Games involving me usually at some point always end up with people drawing a dissgusting amount of cards at the most random times.. I just found a blue/black/green/red deck that's pretty much an insane cadaverous bloom-based deck, with a side of helm of obedience/whetstone/millstone to deck-grind.. My favorite one thoug was one I had one at one point that was designed to completely destroy everything. I'd have tons of stuff to make everyone draw and draw and draw, and once they had all their shit out, I'd counter all their spells and apocalypse, removing everything in play from the game, but I'd save my land with a zuran orb and feldon's cane everything back into my deck, so they'd lose 40-50% of their land, creatures, artifacts and enchantments, and I'd found ways to get all my stuf into the graveyard while boosting my life to no end, and the re-shuffling it all back so I wouldn't lose a thing. I remember the weekends of gaming debauchery that we'd pull off.. 9 people over at a friend's place for a whole weekend of geekdom.. Playing Magic, AD&D, Illuminati, playing PSX, watching anime.. we'd barely sleep from friday night to sunday night lol |

I used to play about 10 years ago, last time I checked some of the cards were worth a hefty penny.. just checking it out now, I think its developed quite a bit since my day, are the cards I have still playable or would I hafta re-invest shitloads into this just to be up to par with yall ub3r 1337 m4g1c h4x0r g33x?
