Update » No_Comply wrote on Sat Feb 10, 2007 @ 10:43am In fact ill make it even more simple for you. Look at what our pass costs, then look at how rank our metros are. Done? good, now look at those pictures again and try to think about how much it would end up costing us. Go ahead, ill wait. I know its asking alot, especially on a weekend.

the problem here is that our metro pass cost more and more but we have less and less service.
at least, if we could have more service, less jampack buses, etc.. it would be a bit more justifiable.

Our metro system is a LOT nicer than any of the others I've used: NYC, Toronto & London. Granted, Guy-Concordia is a really stinky awful metro but compared to the rest I think our system is pretty nice.
To each their own, I guess. There's really no need to be rude. |

yeah ours isn't that far off from Stockholm's really.. The design of the stations is quite nice, we just take it for granted. Obviously we can't compare to Scandinavia in any way (they are geniuses with the volvos and ikea and cell phones and catchy electronic music), but our system isn't that bad.

i like the public transit system in Montreal
back in the day there was alot of political and administrative bullshit it has nothing to do with Quebec not having enough cash as much i used to shit on french people for being whiners living away from home, i appreciate alot of their intrinsic qualities more than ever Calgary is like a giant west island anyways Scandinavia is alot more socialistic than here and in socialism it's normal that essentials and luxuries cost a little bit or alot more cause the point isn't to have a shitload of money left in the bank here in north america our policies tend favor more whoevers at the top of the rat race to each their own we're all allowed to move whenever the hell we want or roll up our sleeves and make things work

in holland bikes don't have speeds cause it's a flat country
seems like a kick ass country from what i heard a melting pot of minds and cultures Montreal is pretty progressive IMO, the core of it at least, and you already got all kinds of conservative cry babies freaking out cause there's a picture of two men kissing on the front cover of a newspaper we're pretty lucky this is coming from someone living in a conservative province right now
