So i'm in Toronto now, living at a hotel temporarily. I haven't been able to toke since Tuesday and my dreams are getting fucking weird.
For the first time in my life, instead of my dream taking place in an impossible place or situation. It took place in a different time!!It was 'tomorrow'/Saturday and I was back in Montreal; all my contextual knowledge was sound though so I was absolutely convinced that somehow all of today had been erased from my memory. The dream felt more real than any I can remember and lasted longer than any I can remember. I thought I was going crazy, that my brain had erased all my memory of what happened today and tomorrow morning, whereas in reality, those times hadn't yet occured. All my movements and actions seemed real. I was with real friends doing average things and nothing was obviously 'part of the dream'.
So last night, while I slept, I thought I was mentally ill, or skipping forward in time.

When I did finally wake up, you can't imagined how relieved I was.
I'm feeling toronto right now..

Thats not even close to as wierd as the dream i had where i was being shipped of to a bording school that was entirely painted blue and i sat on the grass in the yard and and this chick started blowing me under the blanket but i didn't care because i was too busy talking to dj jazzy jeff and then the school bell rang and i stood up and all of a sudden it was winter and there was snow everywhere and i was like OH SHIT I'M 6 MONTHS LATE FOR CLASS and ran into the school where the principle humiliated me on the p.a. system like he it was the howard stern show...
I'm feeling warm unicorn jizz right now..

is that real!?!? That sounds totally nuts!

The most fucked up thing in my dream is that I was really really convinced I wasn't dreaming. Like I had thought about the possibility that I was dreaming, in the dream, but too much time passed without anything seriously strange happening, so I gave up home! Damn lucid dreams.

For many years I had nightmare that were just nightmares (nothing too ugly, just uncomfortable).
When I met my ex, my nightmare stopped and I was able to sleep again and have dreams (sometimes weird) but the nightmares were gone.
I don't know if it is related to him or not, but now that I lost him for good I guess, I haven't been able to sleep properly and my nightmares are back and are worst than ever.
They are very violent and feel real maybe too real. Sometimes I am even aware that I am dreaming, but no matter how hard I try to wake up or scream, I stay trapped inside my nightmares. I only wake up once I got killed in the dream.
So I often wake up with my lips bleeding from bitting myself or some scratches on my skin and sometimes I run out of breath like if I was strangled or my lungs were crushed.
I'm feeling like dying right now..

that's harsh! Our dreams are just what we think about when we sleep, sometimes they represent the thoughts we refuse to think about when we are awake... other times they are exactly what we've been thinking about all day. I think, it's important to answer the questions we were asking ourselves in the dreams. We must also realize that our dreams are in some ways as real as reality. What happens in your mind is all that you'll ever experience, I guess, you have to face your fears, and realize that you're still there when the worst happens...

My dreams are never pleasant, I'm almost always killing people or being chased by someone.

Maybe I'm psychotic.

Maybe... It's getting hard to only have about 3 to 4 hours of sleep (not really sleep, it's more of a semi conscious state of mind). And every single night is full of nightmare. Mostly my death in all of way or possibilities...

My "maybe" was referring to AlienZed last quote not you Angus_Smugglebum. I don't think you're a psychotic (well as long as it stays in your dream you're fine) :P

dreams are just weird and i love that!
sometimes i wake up and i dreamed about an idea for a new project, i just love when this happens!

but i've also had crazy dreams where i'm like nine years old and i'm driving a car with my sister on the passenger seat and i can drive perfectly but suddenly i realize there are no breaks on the car and we fall in the water.
or it's someone's birthday party and people are wrapping gifts with the ugliest wrapping paper ever and i try to tell them that it's ugly but they don't listen to me it's like i'm a ghost and the feeling is... aaaargh i hate this.
or i'm like jumping on a trampoline with this famous actor and my aunt calls us cause it's our turn to play on the nintendo, and we're in a hotel room and on the tv they say something about this terrible storm called max that is coming on us and the tv goes on beeeeeeeeeeep mode and everyone just disappears and i hide behind the tv because i am so scared and then it goes BOOM and the sound wakes me up...
I'm feeling now what right now..

I had this nightmare of my ex and I not so long ago.
I was about 8 to 9 months pregnant. I was in my ex's arms. He was caressing me and promissing me that he will always be here for me. That no matter what he will protect me. But the peaceful scene turned into my having my head hold under water. I was in a public pool at night. I couldn't see who was holding my head, but I could see many feet. I recognize that most of them where my ex's friends (I can't say they are mine since some of them seemed to have chosen his side like I was a monster or something). One of them left the room saying that he didn't want to be part of this but he didn't try to help me. Then I saw my ex actual girlfriend, she went into the water and swam toward me. She inserted her hands inside my vigina and pulled the baby out. Then she got back on the side with the baby in her hands (even if my head was under water I could see her). Then she started strangeling the baby with the ombilical cord. She looked at me with this smile of her saying: "look at what you did, you are loosing everything, look you're baby is dead because of you." Then for some reason I realized that the person who was holding my head down was my ex. I saw them kissing and everyone around were laughing. I felt my lungs getting filled with water. I saw and felt myself dying.

Of course I woke up alone, in the middle of the night crying with my lips bleeding....

End of one of my numerous lovely dreams....
I'm feeling like dying right now..

I really couldn't say what my wierdest dream ever was- although yours sounded pretty terrifying. I have dreams where I get up, go to work, have an agnonizingly long shift, I get home, start to relax and then BEEP! My alarm clock goes off, and I have to go in for the shift that I just dreamt about. That's killer.

The thing that gets to me about dreams is dream-logic. The way you'll be in your house (but it's not your house) or people will look completely different, but you still *know* who it is (Roomate, sibling, ect) even though they could be a completely different gender or age. Or how our actions and emotions don't add up in dreams. That's the part that really freaks me out somtimes.
I'm feeling lonely right now..
