Yeah it's funny when people request morning trance when you are pounding the shit out of speakers playing acid techno. Ahhhh the memories.
One thing I always felt like saying was " yo, you see a sign up on the top of my head that says DJ WINAMP ? No ? Then keep your fucking playlist to yourself and go drop another speed, slut " Of course, I wouldn't have the nerve to say that out loud. But I can always dream...
I'm feeling that artwork is dope right now.. |

I run like this...
Free party, Good cause (fundraiser) = Free Anything else where someone gets cash for having me spin at the party = pay me. I think it's cut and dry, favours and helping out friends is a diff thing altogether but it's all about respect, it's too bad people used to take advantage of their local selectors it gave alot of us a bad taste on the tongue. as far as Vinyl vs CD if I can find it on wax I'll buy it but when I need to drop a track and it's only avail in Canada off the wire for 4 months, well the crowd gets what they want. |

I once politely requested that the promoter of a certain night add my name to the flyer (note: not paid, not a better time-slot, just a little recognition). The response I received was that I was just some guy who showed up and that if I didn't show up one night, someone else would simply take my place and few (if anyone) would notice; good times... good times. |

Betty-haze, im not saying that im better than these people, im just saying that there are traack that a released that arent as good as some of the tracks i made, but these artist in overall do surpass me by far...
but instead of releasing something just to release, i say they should welcome smaller producers... Update » Deadfunk wrote on Sun Dec 31, 2006 @ 4:20pm and i sent demos and the only one who was nice enough to give me just an answer is kevin energy,
other labels just didnt say crap ...
