It's so gonna fuckin' rule! I was hoping though when they said "This sound is the only clue we have" that it was gonna be that classic transforming sound.. But holy fuck that looks good!

whoa that looks fucking dope!! july!!! The child holding a "my little pony" stuff doll is poignant to the 80's and Transformers. Update » Trey wrote on Wed Dec 20, 2006 @ 9:16am i am also looking forward for "Pathfinder", it's about a fight between 2 wolf clans... one Viking and the other Native Americans. Also, Sparta, based on Frank Miller's 300. Holy shit, the cinematography looks even better than Sin City. |

i dunno about micheal bay... he's kind of a boner with a lousy track record...
the more i see the more i think this fool is doesn't know shit about transformers... i can deal with some things that i understand are unavoidable... ie. bumble bee being a camero and the fact that there seems that this movie is basicly a giant pitch to sell cars... but, from what i hear there is all this love story subplot bullshit that really steers away from the original story... but then again... i am an EXTREME transformers nerd who owns every single epsode of every single generation in english and japanese. i think galvatron is my faverite transformer though... cuz he's truly the most evil fucker in whole galaxy!!! i wish they still made villians of his stature. any of you guys have a favorite transformer?

yeah... i can't see them making it far enough into the story to have galvatron in it.
at the most they might have mentions of "the chaos bringer/ unicron" who is responsible for megatrons transformation me thinks??

pearl harbour, the island, the rock, armageddon and the texas chainsaw masacre remake... super cheezeball shit... supposedly he's getting tons of death threats already regarding the transformers movie.

Michael Bay always does movies with Jerry Bruckheimer..
basically, every one of his movies has at bare minimum one huge fireball type explosion.. even if did a remake of pride and prejudice he'd find a way to make something explode.

Yeah but still...Murdock, I'm with you though on all accounts : I think I stopped playing Transformers when I was 22 and I'm uncertain about Michael Bay as well. I liked The Island if it wasn't for all the fucking product placement I saw in it, including this one blatantly obvious scene where you see a future can of Michelob beer alone on a table right there smack in the middle of the screen for almost an entire second before getting picked up by Jude Law.
But on the flipside...it's fucking Transformers, yo. Optimus Prime just looks incredible, as does all other robots. I'll have an opinion on the movie when I see it, not before. Amp : it was Soundwave. I had that one when I was a kid. And my favorite robot was Jetfire ( [ members.wri.com ] ) since it was clearly a total ripoff of a VF-1 Veritech Valkyrie ( [ www.mimymontana.com ] ) from The japanese Robotech series. Hasbro must've gotten sued like mad for that one. I loved him since he was huge, a cooler looking jet that that flamingly gay drama queen StarScream.
I'm feeling that artwork is dope right now.. |
