just finnished a killer track in cubase.. I bounced everything to audio to do the mix, everything on seperate channels etc..but once in audio none of my percussions, synths, samples are synched.. it starts out okay and by the middle it sounds like a mild trainwreck ...suggestions anyone?

hum. have you tried activating the "click to grid" (or something like that" an drag your events so that they all start at the same place?

yeah, of course ..its kinda wierd..if you look at the audio bounce compared to the midi track for the same instrument it would appear the audio is slightly slower....ie..in the beginning the kicks line up and the further you go towards the end they "decale" more and more.. im talking milliseconds here..but its just enough to make it all sound like a slight trainwreck near the end..

did you "bounce" the audio or export tracks into your library?

nvm I talked to a few misicians it would appear the technique I was using is archaic and for the most part unnecessary in my situation..

boucing to audio isn't a bad idea, it will use less cpu then a vst instrument, or record your hardware synth's output (don't need to explain that one)... Also it makes your track more portable meaning you could open it on another computer which might lack the vsts or effects you used.. but if you are using cubase you can just use the "freeze" function for vst synths if you need to render the output.
