You Don'T Learn Anything In School.

You don't learn anything in school. It's just a waste of time. You lug around books and all and do homework. They give too much homework. You shouldn't be doing homework. Nobody's interested in it. The teachers are stupid. They shouldn't have any women in there. They don't know how to teach. And they shouldn't make anyone go to school. You don't want to go, you don't go, that's all. It's ridiculous. I don't remember one thing I learned in school. I don't listen to weakies. My two and a half years in Erasmus High I wasted. I didn't like the whole thing. You have to mix with all those stupid kids. The teachers are even stupider than the kids. They talk down to the kids. Half of them are crazy. If they'd have let me, I would have quit before I was sixteen. -- Bobby Fischer |

High school was a waste of time pretending I wasn't wasted all the time. :)
And, in the imortal words of Homer Simpson: "And how is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?" |

What you have to do is find the right school for you. Unfortunately for me, the school for me costs 14 000$ a semester (or something along those lines) |

Yeah, for a reason. Only reason I'm in school now is because it gets me free shit from my dad.
If I walk into a music store and want to buy something, can I go tell them who Louis Riel is and get my gear? Fuck no. It's time wasted trying to make people lose hope and lose sight of their dreams in an attempt to make a nice, conformist society. Who ever questions what teachers teach? Bunch of people, sit in a room, and gullibly accept everything thrown at them. Fuck that shit. |

School taught me how to hoax my way thru it.
School taught me that people that suceed in it are socially disfunctional. School taught me that if you want to get in a good school, staple a 20$ to your application form |

"I find most of the people who say school is a waste of time never finished it."
the internal logic of this statement is amazing. kinda like the sentence 'a person who likes red would choose red when given the choice'. bobby fischer, what a stupid drop out. |

yeah. And what ever happened to that nerdy fellow? I think his name was Bill Gates? Not only a drop out but also arested for possesion of a kilo of weed. |

what I meant is people might complain about school being too easy or stupid or a waste of time, but if they dropped out, perhaps they are really just trying to defend the fact that they did not put in enough effort to finish it. Maybe high school is a waste, but higher education can be rewarding at least some of the time. |

Bill gates dropped out of harvard, that means he had good enough marks in high school to get in, or a fat bribe.
Some people shouldn't drop out of school though, unless you have a damn good alternative. |

here is an interesting gates quote though: "PLAYBOY: Ever wonder what might have become of you if you had gone to public school instead of Lakeside, where you met Paul Allen and fell in love with computers?
GATES: I'd be a better street fighter. " read this interview: [ ei.cs.vt.edu ] gates also hints on lsd use, interesting |
