Hmm, the batch file is editing the registry, and doing exactly what it was made to do, and anyone who's got no idea how they work and thinks it's a program can just double click it and it'll do it all for them.
Strange. If only Windows Updates were this effective at getting rid of problems. |

am i missing something here? i never had windows with msn messenger on it already, i only had windows messenger and msn explorer, both can be removed in "add or remove programs" and they dont come back after... |

I think you proved Neoforms' point even more. If you have to do that... no normal user can hope to remove MSN messenger. Most advanced users wouldn't know where to put those commands. |

I don't know if you really have to go through all that but I don't feel like testing out that theory now.. I dunno if I'm just crazy but it doesnt look like that program is uninstalling messenger, it looks like its disabling it.. hiding it which may be convenient for certain purposes but I don't see why one would have to go abotu it like that. |

cause microsoft doesn't want you uninstalling messenger, the same way you can't really uninstall IE. |

add/remove programs works for me to uninstall msn.... windows messenger however is there to stay |
